This intake form is the next step toward securing your spot in the January 2027 cohort of the Sex & Happiness Apprentice Program™ — it gets me what I need to set you up properly, and makes sure you have complete clarity on what this 10-month journey will look like once it begins. Once you've submitted it, you'll either receive a link to book a call with me or if you’ve already had your call with me, you’ll receive a link to your down payment page, where you'll also review and sign the program's agreements and the Inner Circle Code of Conduct.

Program Commitment & Strcuture

I commit to participating fully in this 10-month journey, from start to capstone.

I understand the program moves in cycles throughout the 10 months: roughly 2 months of self-study followed by 4 weeks of live practicum, repeating across the full program.

I understand that during self-study months, I will attend a monthly pod meeting with my lead coach and assistant coach, and I may book optional 1:1 time with either coach. Attendance at all pod meetings is required. I am also required to complete all self-study modules and any homework specifically labeled as required.

I understand that during practicum weeks, I will attend live weekly calls (2–3 hours per session), focused on hands-on facilitation practice and transmission — not lecture. Attendance at all practicum sessions is required, except in the case of a severe emergency, which must be supported by written documentation.

I understand that each practicum includes three 2-hour office hours with Laurie, open to every active cohort, and that I am required to attend at least two of the three per practicum. This is my direct access point to Laurie; day-to-day coaching and mentorship come from my lead coach and assistant coach.

I understand I am required to complete nine 1-on-1 coaching sessions with three separate clients outside the Apprentice Program in order to graduate.

I understand I am required to give a presentation to my cohort, as described by my coaches.

I understand I am required to design, lead, and enroll people into a Capstone Project — a real offering, with real paying participants, that I run with Laurie's guidance — in order to graduate and be certified.

I understand that upon successful completion, I will be certified as a Sex & Happiness Coach and Facilitator.

I understand there is an optional in-person retreat at the end of the program (location TBD), available at additional cost.

I confirm I do not need prior coaching experience or experience in the field of sexuality to participate.

I understand that, at the time of my down payment, I will be asked to read and sign the program's agreements (NDA, Program Agreement, Terms & Conditions, and the Inner Circle Code of Conduct).

Self-Direction & Motivation

A large part of this program runs on self-study, with monthly rather than weekly check-ins during those phases. There's no one checking in on you week to week to make sure a module gets done — that's on you. This works best for people who follow through on their own word.

Program Expectations

Both apprentices and program facilitators hold distinct expectations within the Sex & Happiness Apprentice Program™. As an apprentice, you're committing to a 10-month journey that moves between focused self-study and live, in-the-room practicum work. You'll meet monthly with your pod and your coaches, show up for live practicum calls, and attend Laurie's monthly office hours. Because so much of this program is self-directed, you'll need to bring real ownership to your own learning. Along the way, you'll give a presentation to your cohort and design a Capstone Project you'll lead and enroll people into — culminating in your certification as a Sex & Happiness Coach and Facilitator.

Program facilitators are committed to delivering this curriculum in full, mentoring you through your growth, and giving you the tools to build confidence, presence, and skill as a coach and facilitator. In turn, we're looking for apprentices who are motivated, self-directed, devoted to their own growth, and open to discussing sensitive subjects honestly — people willing to overcome past resistance, embrace the coaching and facilitation role, and envision a future shaped by this work.
